Will the movie theater industry survive this? We are now seeing movies release straight to home devices or even to the movie's website for purchase. Will people be willing to transition back to overpaying for snacks to sit in a room full of people and watch a movie on the big screen? I'm 50/50. I could see myself going back to the theaters for only certain movies where the crowd of people would be beneficial. Movies like horror and suspenseful movies would be worth it to me; where the audience is on the edge of their seats! Remember the lady in the back of the theater screaming because something ran across the screen? I miss moments like that. Hopefully, one day soon, it will be safe again to be at a movie theater.
